The “Team parkrun “ event was celebrated in a modest way, recognising the efforts put in by all the participants in the recent World Championships, a few photos were posted to out twitter account.Ĭraig BROWN (VM35-39) of Biggleswade AC, was first over the line in 17:54 - 8th time in 49 appearances. Representatives of 20 different clubs took part. This week 259 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 23 were first timers and 49 recorded new Personal Bests. Please note that this change will remain until HCC repair or replace the bridge. The long gradient to the finish line was a bit testy but all went well. The small bridge on the bottom path was closed by HCC but with the agreement of Tarmac we were able to re-route via the Dragonfly path and through the grazing field to the original finish line. Our 259 runners had to contend with a few very late changes to the course today.
